Taliban and that a deal with the Mujahideen might have to be reached to end their Jihad. Brigadier Mark Carleton-Smith made the comment in an interview with London’s Sunday Times. He said the aim of the conflict needs to be about reducing the insurgency so that it no longer poses a strategic threat and can be dealt with by the Afghan army.
